Ivy Elizabeth Oakley Martin
On May 16, 2024 at 12:18PM, Ivy Elizabeth Oakley Martin was born and passed away at 20 weeks gestation at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Though only with us briefly, baby Ivy left an indelible mark on the hearts of her parents, Payton Turgeon and Colin Martin. Ivy’s time with us was fleeting, but the depth of love and the richness of dreams woven around her tiny existence were immeasurable. She was cherished and adored.
Ivy Elizabeth Oakley Martin may have been stillborn, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who cherished her, and in the dreams of a future where she will always be remembered with love.
In addition to her parents, Ivy is survived by her Nana Turgeon, Papaw Watkins, Papaw Turgeon, Grams, Papa, Aunts; Johnna, Ashley, and Naya, and Uncles; Chachi, Gage, Alex, Cody, Logan, Darrion and Brad.
A celebration of life for Ivy will be held by the family at a later date.

Sweet baby girl
Being your aunt will forever be one of my greatest titles in life. You will always be missed sweet girl, but I am in complete awe of the strength your momma and daddy have had. I know that having you has made them the strongest versions of themselves, and they will always live life with the purpose of making you proud. I believe there was a slew of souls waiting for you, and you will never be alone. Grandma Doris, Poppy, Mamaw Flo, Aunt Tommi, and a bunch of cousins are there to play with you at the best playground ever! We love you to the moon.
