Howard Smith
HEBRON – Howard “Smitty” Smith, 82, died Monday, May 12, at St. Elizabeth Florence.
He was a truck driver with OK and P.I.E. trucking and a World War II Army veteran.
His daughter, Barb Burklo, and granddaughter, Christina Burklo, died previously.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Smith of Hebron; sons, James Smith of Cincinnati and Gary Smith of Union; daughter, Mildred Webster of Independence; brothers, Marshall Smith of Bossier City, La. and Glenn Smith of Alabama; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Florence Baptist Temple. Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
