Helen Horton

Helen Fay Horton, 91, of Wilder, Kentucky passed away on November 28, 2024 at Baptist Village Care Center in Erlanger, Kentucky.

Helen was born on January 24, 1933 in Petersburg, Kentucky to Walter and Agnes Horton.

Helen graduated Valedictorian of Burlington High School in 1951. she also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Kentucky University and a Master’s Degree from Michigan State University.

Helen worked for the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service for 36 years, 22 of those as Extension Agent of 4H for Campbell County.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes Horton, her sisters, Betty Louden and Sue Setters, and her brother, Scott Horton, and her 3 neices, and one nephew.

Helen is survived by her nephew, James Horton of Petersburg, Kentucky and her sister-in-lalw, Barbara Horton of Petersburg, Kentucky.

Helen will be interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Kentucky.
