Obituary
Condolences

FT WRIGHT, KY – Gregory “Greg” John Wickelhaus was born on April 11, 1951, to the late Mabel Louise and Elmer John Wickelhaus at St. Luke Hospital in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Greg passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 12, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital at the age of 73.

Greg attended Campbell County High School and Northern Kentucky Vocational School. Greg lived a vibrant life filled with love of family and friends, lots of laughter, and a passion for his craft. He owned E-Jay Hairstyling and was a highly talented and
savvy businessman. Blessed with the mentorship of his father and a highly talented and loyal group of associates and employees, his business thrived.

Always the generous host, Greg enjoyed sharing his passion of fishing, boating, and rooting on his Bengals with family and friends. He especially loved spending time at both Lake Norris and Longboat Key. Most of all, he loved his wife
Suzanne. They shared countless adventures and made indelible joyful memories. Greg’s humor, warmth, and dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed.

In a final act of sharing and generosity he, being an organ recipient himself, compassionately was able to give the gift of sight to two people in need.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and his brother Gary. Greg’s life will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 29 years Suzanne, his sister Lisa and her husband Curtis Richie, his sister Judy Wofford, his brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Debbie Veith, Andi and Dante Terzo, Chris and Amy Veith, and Sam Veith, his mother-in-law Joyce Veith, and Linda Veith, and especially by all his nieces and nephews he loved so much.

Funeral Services will be held privately by the family.

No one like him

I feel blessed that I got to know Greg through working at EJays. He had a bigger than life personality and treated me with kindness through the years. He taught us the value of working hard and having fun. Suzanne, you have had many more years with him to enjoy and I know he’ll be near you always. Barb Rehkamp Bulmer
