Gregory Paul Owen, 66, of Hebron, KY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Greg was a distribution center manager for McClane Food Services for over 21 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy, in 1977. Greg loved music, singing, golfing, photography, and traveling. His loving heart, warm smile, patience, and infectious personality, made him a man everyone loved and admired. He will be deeply missed.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Catherine Owen; and his sister, Terri Sparks.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Nancy Owen (nee Schulte); his sons, Eric (Erin) Owen, Nicholas (Lacy) Owen, and Ryan Owen; and his brother, Gene (Sue) Owen.

Greg also leaves behind his 5 grandchildren, Riley, Maya, Emory, Harley, and Hudson.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 9:00AM-11:45AM at First Church of Christ in Burlington, KY. Greg’s celebration of life service will be at 12:00PM at the Church. He will be buried at Burlington Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at First Church of Christ.

Memorial Contributions can be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Prayers

Greg was truly a kind and genuine man. I worked with Greg for several years at McLane. I will forever treasure our talks and our laughs. It was truly an honor to know him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Rest easy Greg, til we meet again my friend.
