Glenn Swikert

Glenn George Swikert, 85, of Edgewood, KY passed away Wednesday May 11, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Swikert was an Automatic Control Engineer with Proctor and Gamble Food Packaging Plant for 35 years. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a member of St. Pius X Church, Boston Terrier Club, American Legion, American Rose Society, National Geographic Society, Danny Thomas St. Jude Society, and Catholic Order of Foresters. Mr. Swikert is survived by his wife of 61 years Dottie Swikert (nee Knochelman), Children Dr. Donald Swikert(Dr. Nancy), David Swikert (Jeanne), Dennis Swikert (Terri), Douglas Swikert (Angie), Dian Swikert, and Darlene Clifford (Rick), and 16 Grandchildren. A visitation will be held Tuesday May 17, 2011 4pm until 7pm at St. Pius X Church with the Mass of Christian Burial immediately following the visitation at 7pm. A reception will follow the mass in Milligan Hall at St. Pius X Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery Ft. Mitchell, KY on Wednesday at 10am.
