Georgia Cobb

Georgia Mae Cobb, 78, of Erlanger, KY passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving children. Mrs. Cobb was born to the late George and Chessie (nee: Chisum) Wilkerson in 1936. She was long time waitress with Waffle House in Erlanger, KY for 38 years. Survivors include her children: John J. Cobb, Jr., Wendy Huser, and Jason (Kristi) Cobb, sister, Glenda Roy, 7 grandchildren: Crystal, Hunter, Jason, Josh, Jeremy, Clarisse, Mariel, 5 great grandchildren: Sage, Carter, Tanner, Kale and Marley. She also leaves behind her close friends: Vic Huser, Margie Travis, Gail Linton, Marcia Schidler, and Elinor Johnston. Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Cobb, Sr. in 1989 and sisters: Geraldine “Dink” Godfrey, Mildred Godfrey, Minnie Laura Wilkerson and Mary Juanita Wilkerson. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6pm to 9pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Homes, Erlanger. Graveside services will be on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11am at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
