George Riemeyer

EDGEWOOD ??” George E. Riemeyer, 89, died Friday, Jan. 30, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood.

He was an iron worker for Riemeyer Wire & Iron Works and a World War II Army Medical Corps veteran.

His wife, Dorothy Brockmeier Riemeyer, died previously.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Probst, sister-in-law and caregiver, Mary Lou Lutz.

Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, with Mass of Christian Burial following at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.
