Gene Spence

Gene Edward Spence Sr., 77, of Independence, KY, passed away on Wednesday January 29, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Gene was a supervisor for Sky Chef, a U.S. Marines Corp. veteran, and a member of the Bob White Club. He is survived by his son Gene E. Spence Jr., daughter Jantina Grube, grandson Joshua Grube, brother Ronnie Spence, and sister Joyce Dooley. His wife Janet Elizabeth Spence preceded him in death in 2008. A visitation will be held on Monday February 3, 2014 5pm until 8pm at Elsmere Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2014 at 10am at Elsmere Baptist Church.
