Gary W. Rogers

Gary W. Rogers, 77, of Belleview, Kentucky, passed away on June 22, 2025, just three days shy of his 78th birthday. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, Gary’s life was defined by hard work, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and community.

Gary was born on June 25, 1947, to the late Robert and Wanda Rogers. For over 30 years, he faithfully served as a deacon at Belleview Baptist Church, where his quiet strength, steady faith, and servant’s heart touched the lives of many. Outside of his ministry, Gary was the proud owner of his own HVAC business, where he earned a reputation for honesty, craftsmanship, and dedication.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Gary found joy in the simple things—farming, gardening, squirrel hunting, and fishing. He cherished time spent with his loved ones, whether it was playing outdoor games, cards, or billiards. His presence brought laughter, warmth, and a sense of home to every gathering.

Gary shared 56 and a half beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Delores Rogers (née Potter). Together they raised three sons: Brad (Sandy) Rogers, Brent Rogers, and Bob (Kim) Rogers. He was a proud grandfather to Bailey, Savannah (Jeff Martin), Brandon, Ryan, Kaley (Jonah House), Brandt, and Colton, and a joyful great-grandfather to Brylee, Hendrix, and Ace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Wanda Rogers, and leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family that will be cherished for generations to come.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at Belleview Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 12 PM on June, 30, 2025. Graveside service will be held at Belleview Baptist Cemetery following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gary’s memory to Belleview Baptist Church.
