Survivors include his son, Dustin Schmidt of Eaton, Ohio; mother, Sue Schmidt; stepfather, Russ Williams of Union; sister, Tami Kopser of Union; brother, Randy Schmidt of Vandalia, Ohio and grandfather, Willis Wahl of Dayton, Ohio.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, with memorial service following at Linnemann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Burlington.
