Frieda M. Stein

Frieda M. Stein nee: Kramer, 85, of Erlanger, KY passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Frieda was in the Sisters of Divine Providence from 1946 until 1972. Frieda loved children, and taught for 47 years at St. Anthony, St. Thomas, Villa Madonna, and Blessed Sacrament Schools. She was also a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Parish in Erlanger, KY. She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Kramer. Frieda is survived by her loving husband: Joseph Stein, her stepchildren: Frederick Stein, Barbara Kaelin (Jim), and Donna Schaffer, her beloved grandchildren: Scott Kaelin (Jamie), Kyle Stein (Holly), Mallory Stein, and Connor Stein, her siblings: David Kramer, Allen Kramer, Joan Reider, and Betty Brewer, and numerous nieces, and nephews. A visitation will be held for Frieda on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 10:30am until 12:30pm at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Rd., Erlanger, KY 41018. Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 12:30pm at the Church. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. Frieda’s wishes were for memorial contributions to be made to Mary Queen of Heaven Church at 1150 Donaldson Road, Erlanger, KY 41018, or to Sisters of Divine Providence at 5300 St. Anne Drive, Melbourne, KY 41059.
