Francis Gastright

FORT MITCHELL – Francis X. “Babe” Gastright, 73, died Sunday, April 19, at University Hospital, Corryville.

He was a manager and second vice president of Consumer Relations for Western and Southern Life Insurance Co., Army veteran, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 6423 in Erlanger, American Legion Post 20 in Elsmere, member of St. Xavier Church in Cincinnati and a police judge for Crescent Park.

Survivors include his wife, Joan C. Miller Gastright; daughters, Lyndsay Gastright and Julie Gastright of Bromley, Mary Frances “Fran” Glassmeyer of Burlington; son, Douglas Gastright of Villa Hills; brother, Bud Miller of Maysville; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Friday, April 24, with Mass of Christian Burial following at St. Xavier Church, Cincinnati. Burial will be in Williamstown Veterans Cemetery North. Linnemann Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
