Fern Schweer

Fern Moore Schweer, 92, of Erlanger, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood on Thursday, September 1st. She was a teacher at the Whittier School in Price Hill for 21 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, a member of the St. Mary’s Ladies Society of Blessed Sacrament, a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, a member of the Our Lady of Knock Division of Boone County, and a volunteer at Be Concerned. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Schweer in 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Schweer of Erlanger, Diane Thoman (John) of Florence, and Terrie Perry of Erlanger. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Nieman of Lakeside Park, and her brothers, T. Shelly Moore (Lois) of Crestview Hills, Morgan Moore (Carol) of Crestview Hills, and Philip Moore (Therese) of Erlanger, her two sisters-in-law, Barbara Moore of Ft. Wright, and Sue Moore of Ft. Wright, her grandchildren, Shana Stewart (Jake), Ryan Thoman (Erica), and Kara Link (Justin) and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6th, from 4:30-7:00 PM at Blessed Sacrament Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, with a reception to follow in the church undercroft. Burial will follow on Wednesday, September 7th at St. Joseph Cemetery at 8th and Seton Avenues in Cincinnati.
