Erma Christine Smith

Erma Christine Smith, age 100, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on December 5, 2024. She was born on June 4, 1924, in Falmouth, Kentucky, and was a longtime resident of the area.

Erma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert Smith. She is survived by her loving daughter, Margie Van Cleve (Ronnie); son, David Smith (Laurabeth); and grandchildren Rachel Meadors (Chris), Kevin Van Cleve (Nicole), Dexter Smith (Anna), and Dillon Smith (Rachel). She was also cherished by her great-grandchildren, William Meadors, Grayson Van Cleve, Brantley Van Cleve, Isabel Smith, and Caden Smith.

A devoted member of the Erlanger Christian Church, Erma was a woman of faith and kindness. Memorial donations can be made to the Erlanger Christian Church in her name at 27 Graves Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018 or online at https://erlangerdisciples.org/give/.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM, both at Linnemann Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Erma will be remembered for her loving spirit, dedication to her family, and faithfulness to her community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
