Emorillis Gettys

Emorillis B. (nee Mathis) , 95,  passed away October 31, 2013, at Highlandspring Nursing Home, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, after a short illness related to advanced age.  Emorillis would have been 96 on November 13th. She was a lifelong Boone/Kenton County resident. She was a homemaker and member of Saint Paul’s Parish, Florence, Kentucky. Emorillis also worked several years at Thomas More College, Edgewood, Kentucky.
 
She is survived by her six children:  Paul (Linda); Robert; Norbert (Marilyn); Patrick (Marilyn); Jane Montgomery (Steve); Joyce Wagner (Mike); fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, in 1995, and grandson, Trevor, September 2013. She was also preceded in death by her six siblings Aloysius “Bud” Mathis, Marcella (Mathis) Huser, Charlotte (Mathis) Gamm, Norbert Mathis, Leo Mathis, and Philip Mathis.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
 
Private services for immediate family only.  Final arrangements are by Linnemann Family Funeral Homes, Erlanger, Kentucky.
