Ellen ‘Ellie’ Nicole Perkins was born November 4, 2005, to Stephanie and Matthew Perkins of Hebron, Kentucky. On Saturday, June 15, 2024, Ellie walked into the arms of our Lord and Savior; she was 18 years young.

Ellie is survived by her father and mother, Matthew and Stephanie Perkins; her two brothers, Keegan Perkins, and Jackson Perkins; grandparents Charley and Joann Perkins of Florence, Kentucky; Jerry and Sandi Broering of Columbus, Ohio; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and a wealth of friends.

Ellie was a recent graduate of Conner High School, Cum Laude, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, National Scholar Society, Skilled Trades Pathway, Education Pathway, Character Counts, and Men and Women of Conner. Ellie had also taken her enlistment oath to be a United States Marine, as one of her greatest desires and aspirations in life was to serve her country.

Ellie was an avid lover of basketball and fishing. She was an eager and fervent learner of all things, including mathematics, science, and physics. She was keenly interested in the world around her, and one would often find her welding, working on her truck and motorcycle, playing the guitar, and writing music.

Ellie gave in death as she gave in life. She was an organ and tissue donor, and in her final act of benevolence, she gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation; in doing so, she saved the lives of five others.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5:00 pm—8:00 pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, Kentucky, with the funeral service following on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00 am at Linnemann Funeral Home. Ellie will be laid to rest in a private burial for family and close friends at Napoleon Cemetery in Warsaw, Kentucky.
