Elizabeth Steffen

UNION-Elizabeth “Taffy” Steffen, 72, of Union, KY, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2015, at St Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born to the late Paul and Betty Griswold January 9, 1943. Taffy was a proud Mother, devoted Wife, loving Sister, supportive Friend, and held a strong belief in her faith in God. She delighted with enormous pride the love she had for her six children and eight grandchildren. As well as, the love within her fifty year marriage. She was an X-ray Technician and retired from United Parcel Service. Taffy was wonderfully artistic. She enjoyed painting, making jewelry and other crafting projects Such as, tutus for her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her sister Susan Anthony. Survivors include her husband of fifty years James (Tiny) Steffen, children Tim (Shannon) Steffen, Molly (Jimmie) Judge, Carrie Judd, Laura Steffen, Joe (Danielle) Steffen, Lesley (Eric) Moore, grandchildren Adam and Dylan Judd, Lauren and Charlie Black, Tyler and Olivia Steffen, Ruby and Dawson Moore, sisters Holly Ottesen and Judy Brinkmoeller, brother-in-law Larry Anthony and many nieces, cousins and friends. A memorial mass will be held Thursday April 23rd 11am at St Timothy Church in Union followed by a reception also at St Timothy. Burial of cremains will be held privately at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Taffy’s Steffens name to Big Stef Inc. P.O.
