Elizabeth “Betty” Weatherholt

Elizabeth “Betty” A. Weatherholt, 77, passed into eternal life on Friday, May 2, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. She was born to Daniel and Margaret Abbott on December 28, 1936. Betty was preceded by her husband William B. Weatherholt and sister Kay Speer. She will be dearly missed by her children; Janet Bridwell of Edgewood, KY, Lisa (Gilbert) Johnson of Louisville, KY and Steven (Sharon Brown) Jenkins of Washington, DC; grandchildren David, Colin, Allison, Casie, Hazel, and Keean; siblings Dan Abbott and Sue Russell as well as first husband George Jenkins. A Memorial Celebration of life will take place at the family residence Thursday, May 8, 2014 with burial and service to follow on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:30 AM in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
