Elizabeth “Betty” O’Toole

Elizabeth “Betty” Jane O’Toole, 92, of Crestview Hills, passed away on Tuesday July 15th, 2014 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, John O’Toole; her brother, Willard Burk; and her sister, Dorothy Mahl. She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Susan) O’Toole of Lakeside Park, Patrick (Joyce) O’Toole of Edgewood, and Timothy O’Toole of Miami, FL; her daughter, Elizabeth (Robert) Meyrose of Lakeside Park; her grandchildren, Kate, Kimberly, Matthew, and Michael O’Toole, and Burk and Samantha Meyrose; and her great-granddaughter, Willow. She also leaves behind her niece, Carolyn Cruse; and her nephews, Todd Burk and Karl Mahl; and several other great nieces and nephews. Among her accomplishments she served as PTA President for Caywood Elementary School, Turkeyfoot Middle School, and Dixie Heights High School. She also served on the board of the Northern Kentucky Children’s Home, was a member of Ladies Guild of St. Paul United Church of Christ, and was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Monday July 21st, 2014 from 10AM-12PM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. A funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00PM at the church.
