Eleanor E. Buring

Eleanor Elizabeth Buring nee: Gronauer, 102, of Erlanger, died Friday, April 6, 2018 at Rosedale Green Nursing Home. She was the first female baby born at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Covington in 1915. She was a past member of the Erlanger Lioness Club, American Legion and St. Henry Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Buring and daughter Mary Jane Buring. She is survived by daughter June Fening (Tom) Fairfield Township, OH; her son Donald Buring (Jeanne) of Florence, KY; her grandchildren Brian Fening, Beth Madison (Chris), Julie Seck (Jeremy), Carrie Rogiers, David Buring (Kristen) and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday April 10, 2018 from 6-7 p.m. with a Memorial Funeral Mass to follow at  St. Henry Church 3813 Dixie Highway, Elsmere, KY. Burial of cremains will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Cemetery
