Eileen Kuhn
Mary “Eileen” Kuhn, 93, of Erlanger, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in the comfort of her home in Erlanger. She was born August 20, 1928 in Covington, KY to the late Stanley and Gertrude Kelleher. In her younger years she and her husband enjoyed going to Moonlight Gardens and spending their summers at Coney Island with friends and family. Eileen was a devout catholic, and she was a proud member of St. Henry Church in Elsmere, KY. She loved the Cincinnati Reds and she cherished the Rosie Reds trips she took with her daughter and friends. She was also a big UK Wildcats fan. Eileen was easy going and fun; she enjoyed singing around the house. In her later years she became interested in her ancestry and she started researching her family genealogy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kuhn, her brothers: Jim and Don Kelleher, and her son-in-law, Steve Shaw. Mary is survived by her loving children: Donald (Carol) Kuhn, Barbara Shaw, Kathy Kuhn, Trigg (Dawn) Kuhn, and Janet Kuhn, her 6 beloved grandchildren, and 5 cherished great-grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held for Eileen on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. A memorial Mass will be held following the visitation at 12:00 PM at St. Henry Church, 3813 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018. She will be laid to rest with her husband immediately following the Mass at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) of Northern Kentucky at 1002 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY 41071 or to St. Elizabeth Foundation (Hospice) at 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY or to St. Henry Church at the address listed above.
