Dorothy Sims

Dorothy Lou Sims, 73, of Independence, KY, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Ft. Thomas. She retired after 20 years of service with the Federal Prison in Milan, MI. Dorothy is survived by her son Samuel Sims (Jean), daughter Renee Harwood (Eric), 6 grandchildren: Eric Harwood, Tracie King, Brandon Harwood, Jason Sims, Matthew Sims, and Mekenzie Harwood, 4 great grandchildren, sister Sarilynne Shady, brother Orlie Sims II, and sister Karen Tomlinson. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers James and Jerry Sims. A Visitation will be held on Friday December 5, 2014, 10am until 1pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY. The Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Erlanger, KY.
