Dorothy Jezior

Dorothy G. (nee Wozniewski) Jezior, 90, previously of St. Charles, Illinois .Beloved wife of the late Edmund Jezior, passed away peacefully Dec. 19, 2013, at her home in Florence, Ky. She was born on Sept. 25, 1923, in Chicago to her parents, Lillian and Frank Wozniewski.
She was the loving mother of Dee (Terry) Gaffney, Robert (Connie) Jezior, Shirley
Hodges, Kathy Meyer, Dennis (Kathy) Jezior, Lori Miller, (Roger) and Deanna Holmes; special grandmother to Melissa Tepe, Shan Jezior, Michael Dunning, Cindy Lindsey, Tracey Williams, Amy Hodges, Stephanie Martino, Krista Jezior, Kelly Jezior, Ashley Hawkinson, Ryan Hawkinson, Austen Hawkinson, Justin Holmes and Tyler Holmes; great-grandmother to 16; and great-great-grandmother of one. She is survived by her sisters, Lorraine Lysiak (Henry) and Joann Gniech (Chuck).
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janet Huseby.
Before her retirement she worked as a greeter at Walmart. Prior to that she worked for School District 303 as an aide, where she was fondly known as “Grandma” to the students at Anderson School. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but God and heaven has received a new angel.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated, 7pm Monday, December 30th, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 5876 Veterans Way Burlington, KY 41005. Memorial contributions may be made to the church for the Pew Replacement Fund. www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com
