Donald Ray Calhoun

Obituary
Condolences

Donald Ray Calhoun, age 70, of Florence, KY, entered his eternal home on February 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 14, 1954, in Springfield Township, OH, to the late Kenneth Milton Calhoun and Iva Jean (née Posey).

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Donald is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marsha Calhoun; his daughters, Lisa Calhoun and Holly Calhoun; his brothers, Ronnie (Donna) Calhoun and Johnny (Michele) Calhoun; his cherished grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, and Natalie Cornett; and great-grandchildren, Mia and Bella. He also leaves behind along numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Donald dedicated his career to electrical and maintenance work at East Bend Power Station. He was known for his exceptional mechanical skills, strong work ethic, and kind, generous spirit. A proud member of the Norwood High School Class of 1973, he lived in both Ohio and Kentucky throughout his life, making lasting friendships in both places.

He was an active and devoted member of New Haven Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as an usher, volunteered for meals and dinners, and was always eager to lend a helping hand to his church community. His faith was the foundation of his life, and his commitment to serving others was evident in everything he did.

Donald had a passion for cars, especially his prized 1998 Corvette and his 150th Edition Harley Davidson Trike. He found great joy in working in his yard, meticulously maintaining it with pride and care. His attention to detail, organization, and love for all things mechanical were admired by all who knew him.
