Donald Francis

Donald Francis, 78, passed away on Monday February 13th, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood. He was a member of Erlanger Baptist Church, a retired Ford Motor Company employee, a retired school bus driver of Covington Board of Education, a member of the Masonic Lodge 109 Covington, KY and a former co-owner of Morgan Auto Sales Covington, KY.
He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Germany and a member of United Auto Workers. Mr. Francis loved yard work, doing things with his family, and was an avid UK Basketball fan.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Corey and Lela Francis, and his brothers, Billy Mac Francis and Willard Ray Francis. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Faye Francis; and also by, Daniel and Pamela Francis, Duane and Patti Mahan, Joshua and Hannah Purnell, Coleman Francis, and “his girls” Piper and Harper Mahan. He also leaves behind two special co-workers, Donald Perry and Avery Morgan.
Donald was a good friend to many, always willing to help anyone in need of help or support. He always had a friendly and positive attitude, and enjoyed all aspects of his life.
Visitation will be on Wednesday February 15th, at the Erlanger Baptist Church from 4-9PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday February 16th, at 11AM. Burial will follow service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Erlanger, KY. Please make memorial contributions to the Erlanger Baptist Church-Brown Bag Fund.
