Donald Stamper, 86 of Burlington, passed away on July 12, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. Don was born August 1, 1935 to the late John and Ella Stamper in Wolf County, KY. He was a hard worker who worked various jobs at a time and worked as a truck driver for 38 years as well as a farmer. Don enjoyed having a good time whether it was fishing, boating, dancing, or winter trips to Florida. He loved all of numerous pets throughout the years. Don was a wonderful man who will be missed by all who knew him, but especially missed as a father, uncle, and “Popo”.

Don was preceded in death by his wife: Louise Stamper and 6 brothers, and 1 sister. He is survived by his children: Angie Doerman (Mike), Donna Worley (Randy), Cindy Stamper, John Stamper, and Howard (Ruth Ann) Lewis, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister-in-law: Laura Spegal and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 10am until 1pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY.  The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 1pm at the funeral home.  Don will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Erlanger, KY.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl.
