Don Kathman

Donald “Don” J. Kathman, age 82, died Wednesday April 10th at his residence in Burlington. He was a retired sales manager for Duro Bag Co. where he worked for 25 years. Don was a longtime member of St. Pius X Church in Edgewood and a proud veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his wife Lorna (nee Donaworth) Kathman of Burlington ; his sons Michael of Florence , Donald Jr. of Pensacola ,FLA; David of Edgewood ; Kevin of Bloomington ,IND and a daughter Michele Lauterbach of Cypress ,Texas; 1 brother John Kathman of Edgewood and a sister Elaine Manilla of Huntington ,W.VA. He was the loving grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday 4-7pm at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood, followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will be Tuesday in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum.
