Doloures Clara Ryan, 74, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away on December 16, 2024. She was born on February 21, 1950, in Covington, Kentucky, to the late George and Alma Boh.  Doloures was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alma Boh; her sisters, Sr. Mary Rosanne Boh, SND, and Rosie McCafferty.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Ryan; her children, Mike Ryan (Michelle), David Ryan (Mandy), and Julie Tewes (Craig); her siblings, John Boh, Dick Boh (Rita), Martha Kirby, Norb Boh, Mary Brady (Ron), and Rita Christy (Harold); and her cherished grandchildren, Ellie, Maddie, Megan, Michaela, Caitlin, DJ, Molly, Hannah, and Patrick Ryan, and Elizabeth, John, James, and Mathew Tewes.

Doloures was passionate about farming, gardening, and most of all, her grandchildren, whom she adored. Known for her warm heart, she was a constant presence at family gatherings, where her corn and green beans were always a hit. Doloures often worried about the well-being of others, always putting others first. She also had a love for visiting Amish country, enjoying the simple pleasures of life, including Snickers and a good bowl of ice cream.

Doloures was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, The Right to Life of Northern Kentucky and participated in events at St Joseph Academy. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 5-7:00 pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY with Mass on Saturday, December 28, 2024,at 11:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 62 Needmore St., Walton, KY. Burial will follow the Mass at St John’s Cemetery in Ft Mitchell, KY.

Doloures will be remembered as being cheerful and kind to others! I did not get to see Doloures often, but when I did, she was friendly to everyone! She will be remembered in my thoughts and prayers. She will be greatly missed especially by her family and friends.
