Dolores V. Willen

Dolores V. Willen (nee Elsbernd), 92, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood KY.  She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She worked as the playground monitor at St. Henry grade school for many years.  She then went to work in the cafeteria at Lindeman Elementary School in Erlanger for 18 years. She loved playing Bingo, Rummikub, and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband Eugene Willen, parents Bernard and Mary (Lambers) Elsbernd, brothers Eddie, Bernie, Frank, Joe, Larry, Ray, Alvin, Geek, and sisters Florence Elsbernd, Mary Schneider, Ruth Trame, and Dell Doker. Survivors include her daughter Pam (Tom) Rose, and sister Ann (Chuck) Whittle Falck. Also surviving are grandchildren Tommy (Katlin) Rose, Jessica Rose, Stephanie Rose (Justin Brooks), Greg Rose, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, October 15, 2021, from 6pm to 8pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10am at St Henry Church in Elsmere. Burial will be at St John Cemetery in Ft Mitchell.
