Dewey Holbrook

Dewey Holbrook, 96, formerly of Erlanger, KY and a recent resident of Florence,
KY, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in
Edgewood, KY. He was a member of American Legion Post 203 in Latonia, KY,
a member of VFW Post 6423 in Elsmere, KY, a member of Ex-Prisoners of War
OKI, a WWII Army Veteran, and a Prisoner of War on the German Front. He
also enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a true family man. He was preceded
in death by his wife Dolores Holbrook and by his son, Ronald Holbrook. Mr.
Holbrook is survived by his children: Linda Holbrook (Larry) of Florence, KY,
Wanda Guckiean (Robert) of Cincinnati, OH, Edward Roberts (Pam) of Cincinnati,
OH, and his daughter-in-law, Judy Holbrook of West Chester, OH. He is also
survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great
grandchild. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Linnemann
Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. A service will follow
at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in
Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial donations are suggested to: American Legion Post
