Dennis Ralph Vieth
CRESTVIEW HILLS- Dennis “Denny” Ralph Vieth, born April 12, 1949 in Covington passed peacefully in his sleep on November 17, 2016 after many years of chronic illnesses. Denny was a proud graduate of Covington Catholic High School. He worked for many years in the gasket industry, and after 25 years at Sur-Seal Gasket started his own business, Applied Sealing Technology (AST) with his brother Wayne Vieth. Denny was the past Exalted Ruler of the Lyndon Louisville Elks. In his retirement he delighted in volunteering at Catholic Charities with the greatest people in the world. He was also a proud member of Men of The Sacred Heart. Denny was preceded in death by his dear son Jeffrey Vieth and his mother Virginia Vieth Sherman. He is survived by his loving wife Lynn of 48 years, son Scott (Danielle) Vieth. Also the greatest grandchild ever Anthony Paul, father Ralph Vieth and brothers Wayne, Barry and Jerry Vieth, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Also surviving are the greatest friends of all time, the Gourmet Club. Anyone who knew Denny was aware of his extreme love of horses, especially Secretariat, whom he visited at Claiborne Farms annually for many years. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday November 26, 2016 from 10am to 11am with mass to follow at St Agnes Church in Ft Wright KY.
