Dencie Riggs

ELSMERE- Dencie Belle Riggs, 82, passed away Monday September 28th, 2015 at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. She worked for Zayre Department Stores for 28 years and was a member of Elsmere Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Rex G. Riggs in 1988. Survivors include her son Shelby Riggs, brothers Norman Terry and Glenn Terry, sisters Susan Whalen, Mary Lou Williams and Thelma Sims, grandchildren Jenine Riggs Haines, Carolyn Riggs Trumble and Julie Riggs Haines, great grandchildren Taylor Haines, Madeline Trumble, Colby Haines, William Trumble, Reagan Haines, Shelby Haines and Annie Haines. Visitation will be held Friday October 2nd 2015 from 10am to 12pm with funeral services to follow at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington.
