Condolences
Deanna Sue Lengerich nee Brown, 82, passed away on July 1, 2026, in the company of her 3 children, and in the arms of her oldest daughter, Ronda. Her wish was to die in her home, and through her fierce determination to remain independent, the support of family, friend and kind neighbors, as well as St. Elizabeth Hospice, she was able to spend her final days in her beautiful home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett & Leda Brown, and beloved husband, Bernie, whose death she never fully recovered from.
Deanna is survived by her children: Ronda (Michael) Russell, Greg (Denise) Lengerich and Lisa (Tim) Recker; grandchildren: Kayla (Melissa), Karah (Donnie), Kristen (Tennant), Tami (Matt), Sidney (Justin), Tyler (Natalie), Lexie, Jenna (Landon), and Jake (Emily); great-grandchildren: Ashira, Aria, Samuel, Felix, Holden, and Jesiah; as well as her sister and best friend, Betty (late Dave) Tolle, in addition to many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, from 5:00-6:00pm, followed by a brief service at 6:00pm, at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005.  A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions be made in Deanna’s memory to: St. Elizabeth Hospice (Online Donations).
