David W. Roe

David W. Roe, age 60, of Ft. Wright, KY, passed away on February 8, 2025, at Cold Spring Transitional Care after a long illness.

Born in Queens, NY, David was the beloved son of the late Henry and Corinne Roe. He was an avid hockey player in his youth, graduating from Smithtown High School. David worked in diverse fields, mainly in the customer service and home remodeling industry, where his warmth and dedication left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. David enjoyed spending time Model Railroading with his Dad and brother Tom. He was a member of the Black Diamond Lines club for many years.

A true people person, David touched the lives of everyone he knew. His generosity, positivity, and determination to overcome any obstacle defined his character. Despite the many challenges he faced, he never let his illness get him down.

David is survived by his brother, Thomas (Joy) Roe, and his cherished cousins, Kathy Chuppe, Patricia Michaels, and Veronica Vega.

In accordance with his wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY.

Memorial contributions in David’s honor may be made to The Salvation Army.

David’s kindness, resilience, and generosity will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
