David E. Anderson

David E. Anderson passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on October 12, 2025. David proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather — a good man with a generous heart and a great sense of humor. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was an enthusiastic Cincinnati Reds fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Donna Anderson; his children, Davina Lee (Scott) Jordan and David Eric (Lisa) Anderson; grandchildren, Ben (Toni) Jordan, Taylor (Al Dyer) Jordan, Hannah Jordan, Christine Anderson, Kayla (Johnny Plunkett) Anderson, and Erica (Michael) Cain; and great-grandchildren, Shay Jordan, Dean Cain, Sampson Cain, and Zeek Cain. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shade and Mary Anderson, and by his seven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington. Graveside services and military honors will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
