Daniel Cahill

Daniel P. Cahill, 54, of Lakeside Park, formerly of Verona, passed away on Friday, May 6th at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Dan was the consummate husband and father, directing all of his life’s activities around his family. He was an engineer with Lexmark in Lexington, KY for 31 years, an avid woodworker, coached Little League Baseball, and volunteered at H.O.N.K. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Charlene Cahill (nee: Schwab) of Lakeside Park, four sons, Adam (Audrey Gray) of Ithaca, NY, and Matt, Lee, and Ben, all of Lakeside Park. His parents, Bill and Donna Cahill of Ft. Wright, his siblings, Jim Cahill (Mary) of Villa Hills, Cookie Flower (Dave) of Anderson Township, John Cahill (Rosanne) of Lakeside Park, Taffy Hebbeler (Gary) of Ft. Wright, and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 10th, at 5:30 PM at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell. Visitation will follow the mass in the church undercroft. A private burial will follow at Mother of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bank of Kentucky, % Dan Cahill Education Fund, at any Bank of Kentucky location, or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY.
