Sympathy

So very sorry for your loss. Sympathy for the whole family. The Truitts, Villa Hills

Old family Friends

Sorry to hear this news. Clyde was a part of my family since before I was born, as he and my Dad would carpool to Frankfort. Always at political events, etc. He was a good guy. Best wishes to the family.

Clyde will be missed!

I will certainly miss my many good-hearted discussions with Clyde about the merits of Jimmy Carter, one of my personal heroes. My condolences to the entire family, who will surely miss Clyde, but know that your faithful support of Clyde thru his last difficult years is appreciated by all who knew him.

Your Mom and Dad

Your mom and dad were two of the kindest and most caring people I have known. They both will be missed.

Deepest Sympathy

My deepest sympathy to the entire Middleton Family on the passing of Clyde. May you find peace knowing he’s in a better place. All my best.

Joined together again

John and family,

I missed Clyde in Sanity Singers when he had to quit, he was always a faithful singer. Now Mom and Dad are joined together again. Hard to let them go, but what good memories of a great couple. My condolences to all the family. Susan knew Mary from her charity work.

Prayers and comfort

Clyde was my neighbor at Rosedale green. I loved our conversations about politics. We had a standing joke he was my favorite Republican and I was his favorite Democrat, even though I got a big chuckle when I made that statement. He was the most active resident always going out to lunch and to his optimist club every week. I will miss him dearly and hearing fox news through the walls of our rooms.

My prayers go out to the family and may God give you comfort. Rest in peace, my friend. You are now with your beloved Mary.

Clyde Middleton

In the mid 1980’s on a hot and humid day our door bell rang and when I answered a man
who was short of breath and sweaty from walking up the hill said “Hi I’m Clyde Middleton
and I’m running for office ” I invited Him in our house told him to have a seat and I got Him
a tall glass of ice water.

We talked a little bit about different things for a few minutes and He asked My wife and I if
we were registered to vote. I explained that we had just moved from Cincinnati and haven’t
had a chance to register just yet. He said that He could register us to vote and started to ask
us a few questions and the last question He asked us was what Party we wanted to register as.
When I said Democratic, you should have seen the look on His face. (Clyde was a staunch Republican .)

Then I said that we have voted for Republicans every now and then and that we voted for Regan
and He said “That’s good enough for me.) As He got up to leave, I said Clyde, you got my vote and
My Wife said you got mine too. We could tell after spending 15 minutes with Clyde that He was a quality
person. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Family.
