Love and Support

Sending my love and support to this amazing family during this time of grief. Herr Sprague, as we called him after Intro to German at UF, was the best girl dad to all of us Thetas- and welcomed us each time we visited in Orlando.
He alwsys had a hug and a funny line that helped us through college and years afterward. He loved his daighter Jill fiercely and we loved him for that and will take it from here as he rests in peace with our Lord in Heaven.

Fond Memories

I have fond memories of Uncle Beau. When the Sprague’s got to Orlando, we not only connected with cousins, but he and I connected. Maybe having all girls, he needed a boy? I did not have my full driver’s license and wanted to drive everywhere on the permit. He took me to Miami for a sales trip and sailboat (Sunfish) regatta. I got to drive all the way there and all the way back. I remember going with him to Barret Marine and Lake Fairview towing him behind Miss Moses Lake while he was skiing. Got halfway across the lake one time daydreaming before I noticed he fell. Thought I was going to hear it, but he laughed and said he thought he was going to swim to shore. He always defended the PAC 10 football over the SEC and lost a few bets doing so. 🙂 He always seemed to see the best in me, and I never forgot that. You’ll be missed Uncle Beau, enjoy the turkey burgers and strolls wearing Crocs up in heaven.
