Charles “Charlie” Pate

Charles A. Pate, 84, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday August 13th, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas. He was a baker with Latonia Bakery, Zeke’s Bakery, and Remke Bakery. He was preceded in death by his mom, Lillian Caviglio; his brothers, Jack and Jimmy Pate; and his sister, Maxine Woods. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia Pate of Covington; his sons, Mark (Barbara) Jennings of West Chester, OH, Troy Jennings of Covington, Chuck Pate of Western Hills, OH, and Bill Pate of Western Hills, OH; his daughters, Natalie Bechtol of Delhi, OH, Charlene Janson of Delhi, OH, Joanie Mills of Loveland, OH, Pam Janson of Western Hills, OH, Terri Rogers of Delhi, OH, Kimberly Stull of Butler, KY, Debbie Bowman of Edgewood, and Dawn Ashcraft of Butler, KY. He also leaves behind his 28 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday August 15th, 2014 from 10AM-11AM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. An informal service will take place at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: The Kenton County Animal Shelter 1020 Mary Laidley Rd.
