Carol Jansen

Carol Louise Jansen, 86, of Crestview Hills, KY passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. A 1951 graduate of Thomas Moore College (Villa Madonna College at the time), she spent countless hours volunteering with the Women’s Guild and TMC Alumni Association. Additionally, she served the schools her children attended namely St Pius X, Blessed Sacrament, Covington Catholic High School. She was an avid football fan cheering on the University of Notre Dame and the Cincinnati Bengals. She is survived by her eight children Thomas Jansen, Richard Jansen (Stephanie Renaker), Jack Jansen (Carol Steltenkamp), Bryan Jansen (Judy), Kris Ruschell (Robert), Bob Jansen, Dan Jansen (Janet), and David Jansen (Liz), 17 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Dr. Carroll Jansen in 2007. A visitation will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 4pm until 7pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 10:00am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary cemetery.
