Carl “Jerry” Hudson

Carl “Jerry” Hudson, 81 of Erlanger, passed away on September 21, 2022. Jerry was born on July 7, 1941 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Carl and Emma Hudson. Growing up, Jerry was know as “Jelly” and he played football and graduated from Holmes High School. Jerry then married Janice and on their wedding night they went to a bowling alley and shared a shrimp basket. That lead to 51 wonderful years together. Jerry was an avid hunter, fisherman, and bowler. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass, cheering on UK and playing poker and euchre.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife: Janice Hudson, brother: Michael Hudson and sister: Carla Hudson. He is survived by his daughter: Shellie (Derick) Yelton, son: Jeffrey (Tracy) Hudson, grandchildren: Jeffrey (Rachel) Hudson and Christian ( Grace) Hudson, 5 great-grandchildren and brother: David (Carol) Hudson.

Visitation will held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 10am to 12pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger. A funeral procession and graveside service will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery, Ft.
