Thinking of his family

Brett and I grew up together, living 1 street apart, were on the same baseball and basketball teams, riding our Dyno bikes throughout Elk Grove with our Windermere group of friends is something I will cherish forever. Even though our life paths went different ways and we lost contact over the years, I always think back to the good ole days being with Brett. He was a great friend to everyone. He thought of others first, was a great athlete, and was one tough guy. Thanks for creating childhood memories that will last with me forever. Rest easy. Thinking of his whole family at this very difficult time.

Thinking of you all

Sending all my love and prayers to your entire family. I had the pleasure of growing up with Brett. I went to Nerge, Mead and Conant with him. Kristin and Racquel brought our families together when they were just five years old, which means Brett and I were one. I remember all our times together and always thought so highly of your entire family. I can remember back in second grade when Brett made me laugh so hard during lunch that a noodle came out of my nose. He was always so funny and witty. Brett was truly one in a million, with an infectious heart and smile. He was a great friend, athlete, son, brother, husband and dad. I’m so grateful to have known such an amazing man. May God bless you all and hold you close during this heartbreaking time. My whole family and I are here for you all should you need anything at all. You can lean on us.

Love always and forever,
Robin Horton (Jaquinde)
