Brenda Sue Kramer

Brenda Sue Kramer, 69, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed away on August 8, 2024. She was born to the late Loraine and Bud Brautigan on September 21, 1954 in Covington, Kentucky.

Brenda earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University and furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky. Her career with the State of Kentucky was distinguished by her dedication and professionalism, where she worked tirelessly to support and uplift those in need.

Brenda was not only a dedicated professional but also a proud and loving family woman. She was a loving wife of 54 years to her husband, Gary. She also cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, finding boundless joy in the moments spent with her family. Her legacy is reflected in the warmth, love, and wisdom she shared with her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jason Kramer, sister, Pauline, and three brothers, Jonny, Albert, and Robert. 

Brenda is survived by her husband, Gary Kramer, her son, Steve Kramer, grandchildren, Alex and Taylor, and great-grandchildren, Jason and Isabelle, her siblings, Norbert, Paul, Mary Anne Brautigan, and Teresa Cooper each of whom were blessed by her nurturing spirit and unwavering support. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who were touched by her kindness.

A memorial visitation will be held to honor Brenda’s life on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, Kentucky. A service will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Burlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center, Magnolia Campus – Tampa Florida.
