Borden Gewin

Borden E. Gewin Jr., 64, of Dry Ridge, KY passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at his residence. Borden retired from the U.S. Department of Labor after 37 years of work as a Federal Investigator. Borden was a loving and caring father and husband. He is preceded in death by his parents Borden and Virginia Gewin. He is survived by his wife Pamela Gewin (nee Herald) of Dry Ridge, KY; sister Ann Goff of Greensboro, GA; daughters Melanie Carmichael (Russ) of Burlington, KY; Stephanie Gewin of Florence, KY; sons Borden Gewin of Covington, KY; and Wilson Gewin of Lexington, KY. A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 9am until 12 noon at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY with a burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Kidney Fund at 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
