Bobby Jones

Bobby (Bob) J. Jones, 70, of Independence, KY passed away Sunday, October 30th at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Bob was a beloved husband and dad, and has been married to the love of his life, Sharon Jones, for 52 years. He worked for Western and Southern Life Insurance and retired after 33 years of service. After retirement he drove a school bus, for Kenton County Schools, for ten years. Bob is preceded in death by his father Emmitt Jones. Bob is survived by his loving wife Sharon; mother Evelyn Jones of Evansville, IN; sister Betty West of Evansville, IN; son Ronald Jones of Evansville, IN; daughters Donna Dillon of Princeton, IN and Julie Cook-Henne (Tim) of West Palins, MO. Bob also had 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10am at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Erlanger, KY with burial to follow at St. Mary’s cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
