Bob Woeste

Robert “Bob” Henry Woeste, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Inspirations of Florence.  He was born in Covington, KY on October 11, 1939, to the late Henry and Pauline Gallagher, Woeste.

Bob grew up in Covington, KY and met the love of his life, Gertrude.  They married on October 31, 1964 and started a life together.  They had two wonderful sons, Wesley and Matthew.  They resided in Erlanger, KY where he worked as a pipefitter for the Local 392.  Bob enjoyed working cross word puzzles, watching football, and was an avid Cincinnati Reds baseball fan.  Bob loved his family fiercely and was always there for them when they needed him.  For all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him, they will truly miss his presence in the days to come.

Preceding Bob in death are his parents, Henry and Pauline Woeste; sister, Mary Ann Ervin and brother Bill Woeste.

Those left here to carry on his legacy are his two sons, Wesley Woeste, Matthew (Karen) Woeste; grandson, Clay (Mya Emmons) Woeste; niece, Polly Huggins and nephews, Rob Ervin and Michael Woeste.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia, KY.
