Bob Temmen
Robert “Bob” Temmen of Edgewood, passed away on October 15, 2018 at the age of 93. Bob worked as a Marketing Executive at the Cincinnati Enquirer. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II and retired as a Staff Sargent in 1945. He achieved many accolades including several Bronze Stars. He was a gentleman, known for his sharp dress attire and generous heart, Bob was active in many organizations. He was a past President of Neediest Kids of All, the Cincinnati Advertisers Club and Erlanger Kiwanis. Bob was also a director of the Cincinnati Kiwanis Club, a charter member of the Downtown Council of Cincinnati, a board member of Campbell Lodge for boys, and Chairman of Cincinnati Enquirer Middle Management Board. He served on the Red Cross, United Appeal and many other charities. Bob is preceded in death by parents, Frank and Grace Temmen; brother, Frank Temmen Jr. and wife Betty Temmen. Survived by cousins and many important friends and loved ones. A visitation will take place on Monday, October 22nd at St. Augustine Church, Covington from 10AM – 12PM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be immediately following at St. Mary Cemetery.
