Betty Louise Oard

Betty L. Oard, 87, passed away on December 17, 2025. She was born on July 11, 1938.

Betty carried herself with confidence and took pride in always being well dressed and put together. She loved fashion, shopping, and everything white or gold. Even when there wasn’t much, she had a way of making those around her feel cared for and valued.

She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas with her husband, Don. Her son, Greg, would meet them in Vegas before he would depart to the Marines. She showed up for the moments that mattered and was a steady, reliable presence for her family. Betty fiercely loved her siblings and was especially close to her sister, Mary. She also cherished her lifelong friendship with Helen Reiber and loved her dogs, Brandy, Pepper, and Symphony.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Oard; her parents, Henry and Ann Moyer; her granddaughter, Dannielle (Katie) Rouse; and her five siblings.

She is survived by her son, Greg (Sonja) Rouse; her grandchildren, Greg (Amy) Rouse and Brad (Brett) Rouse; her great-grandchildren, Claudia, Grayson, Oliver, Rafe, and Braxton; her lifelong friend, Helen Reiber; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on December 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery
