Betty Jones

Betty Jean “Skipper” Jones, 87 of Florence, KY passed away on December 7, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Edgewood, KY. Mrs. Jones was a switchboard operator for Taft, Stettinius & Holister Law Firm for 31 years. She was a member of the VFW Pohlmann Linnemann Auxiliary and Red Hat Society. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her loving husband; Donald J. Jones, brother; Fred Coghill and sister; Mary Louise Cottrill. She is survived by 4 step-daughters; Gloria Marqua of Independence, KY, Sandy Dishon of Independence, KY, Donna Henn of Covington, KY, Teresa Wolfe of Morning view, KY, 3 step-sons; Ronnie Jones of Alexandria, KY, Dale Jones of Florence, KY, Rodney Jones of Cincinnati, OH, brother; Bill Coghill of Palm Bay, FL, nephew; Chris Coghill of Covington, KY and several other nieces and nephews. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday December 12, 2012 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger, KY with funeral services to follow at 11:00am. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Erlanger, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to Charity of Donor’s Choice.
